Surrey Harmony offers you the chance to sing great, four-part harmony a cappella songs in a highly entertaining style.
Whether you last sang at school, in the car or in the shower, we’re sure you’ll gain as much fun and friendship from singing with Surrey Harmony as we do. You’ll be given full tuition, gain opportunities for personal development and get to sing in an exciting variety of places.
Why not drop us a line then pop along to our next Wednesday night rehearsal, warm ups start at 7.30 and there’s always room for one more – you can be sure of a warm welcome!
Once you’ve decided that Surrey Harmony is the place for you, there are two very informal voice checks to go through. The first is to determine if your voice is suited to Barbershop, ie without vibrato, and which part your voice is naturally suited to sing. The second, takes place about 4 weeks later and is to see if you can learn your song part and sing it along with an informal quartet, behind closed doors. There will be plenty of help and support along the way though, and the voice checks are friendly and informal – certainly nothing to be scared about!
